A few words from Elisa Rubenstein, Head of Fundraising

North West has an active fundraising committee comprised of 25 members each of whom contributes greatly using his/her individual background skills. In addition to our government funding, we are dedicated to raising funds for he school through both grants and generous donations from our present community and alumni. We encourage past pupils to get involved with the school. At our last fundraising dinner the school video (which you can still enjoy on this website), the fantastic music entertainment, and delicious catering were all contributed by past students of the school to whom we are most grateful.

We hold a major fundraising dinner every three years to provide funding for long term projects such as IT, Building and facility improvements and our swimming pool renovation. It is crucial to have funds available for the maintenance of health and safety on the premises for our children and to provide an updated, and exciting learning environment. We always appreciate new ideas and welcome all feedback.

In terms of our government funding, the capital grants we receive are the Local Coordinated Voluntary Aided Programme (LCVAP) and The Devolved Formula Capital (DFC). We bid to Brent for LCVAP each year. These funds can be used to fund capital projects which require funding above what is available through DFC which is calculated for each school based on a formula. The Government expects that an element of DFC to be used towards a planned LCVAP project. LCVAP funding is paid at 90%.

Please contact Elisa Rubenstein – 07500553867 – if you would like to contribute to this effort with your time and/or funding.

At present we are not set up for on line payments but hope to bring this feature to our website in the near future.
