School Council is an opportunity for children to have a say in how they think the school should be run. We get together once a week and report on suggestions children have given. We discuss the ideas as a group and try to improve or change the school according to the suggestions.Suggestions are made by writing your idea down, putting it in a ‘suggestion box’ and reading it out at the School Council meetings.
We organise fun events for the school to enjoy, such as earlier this year we ran a series of ‘North West Has Talent’ which all the children loved and gave them a chance to show us their talent.
